Ipswich Fire Doors inspects, scopes and project-manages fire-door and passive fire protection works to a verified competency standard. We are an independent consultancy — not a one-man fitter — so our advice is impartial and our reports stand up to scrutiny.

Who we are

Ipswich Fire Doors is a trading name of RiSKFiX LLP (company number OC407139, registered in England & Wales). We provide fire door inspections, repairs, installation, planned maintenance, fire stopping and compartmentation surveys across Ipswich and the wider Suffolk area.

Our experience

We work for social housing providers, managing agents, residential blocks, care homes, schools, NHS and healthcare estates, and commercial and industrial premises. That breadth means we understand the different fire-safety duties each setting carries — and how to evidence compliance for insurers, enforcing authorities and the Building Safety Regulator.

How we work

Because we inspect and scope works rather than simply sell doorsets, our advice is impartial: we recommend compliant repairs over replacement wherever performance can be restored. Every inspection follows BS 8214:2026, and our reports are dated, photographic and standards-referenced.

Due to exceptionally high demand, we are not taking on new residential enquiries at present. Our full attention is on delivering the residential projects already in progress — to the standard our clients expect. We expect to reopen for new residential enquiries from 01.09.26.
